Right after the November 2016 election, more than 140 Oak Park-area residents gathered for a community discussion on the new world awaiting all of us with the incoming administration.
At this follow-up community gathering, participants will find out what has happened since the last meeting, hear about community justice efforts and initiatives that are currently taking place, and be introduced to some community-building initiatives of the Oak Park Regional Housing Center that will be taking place over the next six months.
Information will be presented on current initiatives that are:
    • Connecting Oak Parkers to one another on equity issues
    • Helping to make Oak Park a more welcoming community
    • Connecting the Greater West Side together for a stronger region
    • Helping to ensure educational equity for all Oak Park students
Whether you attended the November Community Conversation or not, we want to hear from you. We hope you can join us!
