Celebrating 40 years of the ‘Oak Park Strategy’
Rob Breymaier, Executive Director of the Oak Park Regional Housing Center, authored a piece in the Wednesday Journal. To celebrate the 40-year anniversary, the article discusses the impact of the Housing Center model in the village of Oak Park and the importance of housing integration.

LGBT Housing Protection
OPRHC sponsored a forum, The LGBT Community and Emerging Fair Housing Rights, to discuss new housing protections for the LGBT community at the Oak Park Public Library.

OPRHC Provides Gateway to Homeownership
The Wednesday Journal highlighted the successes of the first-time homebuyers program, a free HUD-certified counseling and education service provided by the Oak Park Regional Housing Center.

Not the End of Segregation
Morgan Davis, Fair Housing Policy Analyst, and Patricia Fron, John Lukehart Public Policy Fellow, were interviewed by the Chicago Tribune and The Grio for their response to the report The End of the Segregated Century: Racial Separation in American’s Neighborhoods, 1890-2010, by the Manhattan Institute.
