what we've lost is nothingJoin other readers to discuss "What We've Lost Is Nothing," this summer's One Book, One Oak Park selection. The discussion will be held at the Oak Park Regional Housing Center, 1041 South Blvd. Rob Breymaier, the Housing Center's Executive Director, will moderate the book discussion.

Author Rachel Louise Snyder once worked for the Oak Park Regional Housing Center and lived in one of the apartment buildings that the Housing Center often recommends to clients. In her debut novel set in Oak Park, a series of home invasions rocks a local neighborhood into examining hidden prejudices, the power of tolerance, and the evolving relationship between American cities and their suburbs.

Copies of the book are available through Oak Park Public Library locations. This book discussion is free and open to the public.
